Wildwood Sauna – Terms, Conditions
Age Restrictions
Sauna sessions are for guests aged 18 and over.
Check-In & Arrival
Please arrive 10–15 minutes before your session to check in.
Park in the designated area; do not park near the sauna.
Health & Safety
By attending Wildwood Sauna, you acknowledge:
Assumption of Risk: Use of the sauna involves risks including burns, slips, heat or cold stress, or other injury. You assume full responsibility for any injuries, damages, or losses.
Physical & Mental Fitness: You are in good health to safely participate in hot and/or cold extremes, and are not aware of any conditions (including pregnancy, heart issues, high blood pressure, vertigo, diabetes, or respiratory conditions) that would increase your risk.
Medical Consultation: You have consulted a medical professional if needed regarding any medications or pre-existing conditions.
Sobriety: You will not be under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs. Prescription medications are allowed only if cleared by a medical professional.
Lake Use: Swimming or plunging in the lake is not part of the Wildwood Sauna experience and is entirely at your own risk.
Conduct & Site Rules
No alcohol, smoking, vaping, or glass containers on-site.
Be respectful in the sauna.
Bring suitable footwear; the ground may be uneven or slippery.
Wildwood Sauna is not responsible for loss of property, injury, or illness.
Booking, Cancellation & Rescheduling
Multi-passes are non-transferable. Gift vouchers are non-refundable but can be transferred by contacting us.
Shared sessions: Reschedule up to 12 hours in advance.
Private sessions: Reschedule with at least 24 hours notice.
Cancellations: 24 hours notice required for a full refund.
Preparation
Bring swimwear, two towels (one to sit on), water, and warm clothing for after your session.
Public toilets are located a few hundred metres away at Ivon Wilson Park, around a 3–5 minute walk.
Please use these before arrival.Leave valuables at home.
Acknowledgment & Agreement
By attending Wildwood Sauna, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions and Waiver, and accept all risks associated with participation.
Group Bookings / Additional Participants
If you are booking for multiple people, you confirm that you have provided the full names of all participants at the time of booking and that each participant has agreed to these Terms & Conditions. You accept responsibility for ensuring all participants meet the age, health, and safety requirements outlined above.=
Cancellation Policy
We understand plans can change, and we aim to be as accommodating as possible. As a small business, late cancellations directly impact our team and prevent others from booking available spots.
Refunds & Fees
If a refund is issued, payment processing fees (e.g., Stripe booking fees) are non-refundable. These fees are retained by the payment provider and not returned to us.
Shared Sessions
You may reschedule up to 12 hours before your booking.
You may cancel with at least 24 hours’ notice for a full refund (minus processing fees).
Within 12 hours, please email us — we’ll do our best, but changes aren’t guaranteed.
Private Bookings
Require 24 hours’ notice for cancellation or rescheduling.
Within 24 hours, changes depend on whether we can refill the original time slot.
If we cannot rebook the session, the full booking fee may still apply.
No-Shows
If you do not attend your scheduled session without prior notice, the booking will be forfeited and no refund or credit will be issued.
Weather & Safety
We reserve the right to cancel or postpone sessions in the event of unsafe weather or natural hazards.
Notification will be sent via email/text message at least 1 hour prior
You will receive a credit to rebook a future session
Gift Card Policy
Gift cards are available for purchase online.
Not redeemable for cash
Non-transferable
No refunds, extensions, suspensions, or transfers for change of mind, injury, illness, or any other circumstance — all gift card purchases are final.
Concession Passes & Products
Concession Passes
Validity/expiry is displayed at the time of purchase
No refunds, transfers, suspensions, or extensions on 5- or 10-session passes for any reason
Late cancellations or no-shows forfeit that visit as per the cancellation policy
Passes are strictly non-transferable
If multiple people use the same concession pass:
The pass will be cancelled immediately
No refund will be provided
A profile photo must be uploaded and may be checked at sign-in
Retail Products (e.g., towels)
All sales are final for hygiene reasons
We will honour any manufacturing faults under the Consumer Guarantees Act
